Kathy Kemp - Treatment Coordinator. Kathy started working for Dr. Yorita in 1977 as a chairside assistant. After a few years, she “temporarily” retired to have children. She returned to the office in 1989 and has been here since! Kathy cannot imagine doing anything else – she loves orthodontics and working with such great orthodontists. She has seen generations of beautiful smiles created here and has made lasting friends. Kathy has been married for 35 years to her husband Gene, who is a superintendant for a construction company. They have two terrific children – Jared, a civil engineer, who along with his wife Michelle lives in Los Angeles, and Kacie, a paralegal (in a few months!) and her beautiful 3 year old daughter, Kalei, live in Garden Grove. Kalei keeps Kathy pretty busy, but she enjoys every minute of it! |

Debbie Fougere – Financial Coordinator. Debbie has been a team member of Dr. Yorita’s since 1988 and has enjoyed working as a chair side assistant, x-ray technician, and currently as the Financial Coordinator. She lives in Garden Grove where her interests center around her husband Gary, her children, and her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling – especially to Colorado, where her grandchildren live. Debbie considers herself very fortunate to be a part of such an excellent, caring office such as Dr. Yorita’s and Dr. Ikeda’s. |

Sayaka Heng - Appointment Coordinator. Sayaka was a previous Invisalign patient of Dr. Ikeda’s. She enjoyed the experience so much that she soon afterwards decided to join our team! Sayaka comes to us with an extensive background in the dental field, having worked in dental offices in the Irvine area. She is also fluent in Japanese which has been very helpful for our Japanese patients. She was recently married to her husband Kosal, whose family owns a sushi restaurant in Costa Mesa. She enjoys painting on her free time and helping out at the sushi restaurant on the weekends. |

Jessica Levy - Public Relations Coordinator. Jessica Levy is our new public relations coordinator. She is a current Invisalign patient of Dr. Ikeda that enjoyed the office so much that she decided to join the team. Jessica will keep our patients up to date with the latest news via website, facebook, you tube and other social media. She will also act as Dr. Ikeda's liason to the community. She is currently planning her wedding and lives in Irvine with her fiance. In her free time she enjoys cooking and helping animals.. |

Jaime Reyes – Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Jaime studied Dentistry in Mexico at the University of Mexico in Mexico City where he received a dental degree. Jaime has worked in the dental field for more than 20 years, and worked in the orthodontic field for over 12 years with 7 of those years in this office. He loves to spend time with his family, and likes to play soccer and has been an assistant coach for several years. Jaime also stays busy with his church activities. |

Penney Iofi – Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Penney has had the pleasure of being an RDA since 1984, with extensive knowledge in orthodontics and pedodontics. She has experience in working with special needs patients and is a certified sign language interpreter. She loves orthodontics because she gets to help create beautiful smiles while getting to know the patients. In her personal life, her joy comes from serving God through leadership in a Women’s Ministry. She has a wonderful husband and friend, Mata, that is very supportive of her. Penney stays busy with her 4 beautiful children, ranging in ages from 6 to 27 years old. |

Christa Vaughn – Back Office Coordinator (RDA). Christa received her dental education at Cypress College in 2005 and has been working in our office as an RDA for almost 4 years. She loves working in orthodontics and seeing the transformation of our patient’s smiles, as well as hearing about their lives and activities over the course of their treatment. Christa lives in West Garden Grove with her husband Ivan and kids, Caleb, Emma and Cayden. When not at work, she is often at the baseball field year round supporting her son Caleb, shopping with daughter Emma or spending time at the beach with her family. |

Sierra - Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Sierra loves working in Orthodontics! She thrives on learning new things and on the challenges and technologies that progressive orthodontics present. Sierra comes to us from a pedodontic office where she loved working with children. She was born and raised in La Mirada and in her spare time, enjoys hikes and spending time with her friends and family. She also thoroughly enjoys coming to work with such a wonderful team! |
